How should I ask this girl to hang out?

I went on a date with this girl I've been talking to about a week ago. At the end of the date she suggested we hang out again so I agreed to text her later. Later that week I asked her to hang out over Easter break but she said she was way to busy and couldn't do anything. I want to ask her to hang out this weekend but I'm not sure how to not come off as desperate.How should I ask this girl to hang out?
