I have hardly any friends how can I get good Girl Friends to hang out with?


Does anyone have any idea how I can find girls to hang out with? I am a 24 year old straight female who would love to have some great girlfriends to hang out with I live in gary indiana . Anyone have and ideasI have hardly any friends how can I get good Girl Friends to hang out with?
I moved to NYC with no friends. I made friends with a girl at work, I meet a girl on an airplane, and I made friends with people at parties. You can take some yoga classes at the gym and talk to the girls there. Have a party or do a happy hour, invite co-workers and tell them to bring friends . . . that is an easy way to meet new people.

Usually can find people at work, try joining or starting a group of people with same interests as you (biking, walking, hiking, taking pictures, whatever). Find them doing things you like to do. I live in a bad place now so i dont have friends around here either so i am going back home but i know what your feeling promise. Good luck
Go to church or join a community group (such as if you like gardening, join a gardening group.) You can usually tell by talking what they are doing in their life and what choices they are making.
